There was a sweet patient who was going to hospice later that evening. Hilarie was her nurse and found out that the patient loved Christmas and was sad because she most likely would die before Christmas. Hilarie found a bunch of decorations in storage units and she got the whole unit to surprise her patient singing "Jingle Bells." They then decorated her whole room and gave her a blanket from the gift shop. She went above and beyond. The patient and her daughter were in tears expressing their gratitude for the love and wonderful care that they received. Hilarie brought joy and cheer to that sweet, dying patient and their family that day!
