My grandma was admitted to the hospital on Friday. Being a cancer patient she was having shortness of breath and just not feeling right. Little did we know that same day we would be admitted to a room and have to hear the doctor say he could treat the pneumonia but they had done all they could do for the cancer. That night we met our angel on earth, Hilary. She came in and introduced herself and went about business but was quick to come back. That's when she started sharing a story about her family and repeatedly reassured us that everything would be okay.

Every time she comes in it's not just what she can do for my grandma but for all of us. Tonight she's taken care of both her patients and in-charge and on top of that told my mom she'd make sure I was taken care of as well. Every time I see her in the room or hall she always has a smile. She's not just a nurse she's now a family member. I say that wholeheartedly as the woman has a heart of gold. I love her and I know my grandma does too.
