I went into the hospital with intense shoulder pain. After three surgeries, a gastro-nasal tube insertion, numerous trips to x-ray, I was done. I have always been a very healthy person. One day I looked up at Hilary and said, "I cannot do this anymore". She very calmly came and sat on my bed, wrapped her arms around me and said that "we" would get through this! That simple act of kindness made the rest of my days bearable. I know the nurses had my back. I was in the hospital for 15 days and had many nurses. Hilary has a gentleness and kindness that makes a nurse special. I called her my nurse angel. I thank God that I was blessed to be under her care.
