Hillarie Goetz-Smith, RN, BSN, MHA, CCRN

An emergency stat was called on a patient who was participating in therapy in the gym. Hillarie immediately jumped into action, providing quick and efficient CPR, which resulted in ROSC, establishing an IV, and prompting an immediate transfer to the ER. She led the actions of this stat in a calm demeanor which allowed critical thinking and direction to be given to those involved. Hillarie showed exemplary leadership through her clinical ability and her leadership characteristics ensuring the patient's needs were met and the staff involved felt supported. I appreciate Hillarie’s clinical skills and always feel comfortable providing emergency care when she is involved.
