Hillary is a beautiful soul. She is thorough in her work. She has consistently communicated with me about the signs my husband was showing and the need for the purpose of each medication she administered. She was also attentive to me as his wife, answered any questions I may have, facilitated a very needed conversation about resuscitation with another provider, and was very professional in her interactions with me. She is kind, the epitome of compassion, and did a great job attending to my husband's deteriorating condition. She listened to me about the need for pain management, that prior conditions did not just go away, but now on top of them, he is nonverbal and nonambulatory state. She is mature and knowledgeable. I believe God sent her to care for my husband at a critical time so that I can be confident going forward that he received the best care possible at that time. Her level of competence shows or reflects her level of education and training as a cardiac nurse, a specialty. I am so very appreciative of her as a part of my husband's care team, but I would have liked her to be involved earlier in his care. I wonder if her level of competence may or could have made a difference in the very early days of his stay. I appreciate her so very much.
