Hillary Ripley, BN, RN

My father, my mother, and I walked into this room, and the first person we were exposed to was Hillary. My mother had recently been diagnosed with basal cell lymphoma, and we had been waiting to meet with hematology. The waiting was stressful, and the unknown created great stress over the holidays. Hillary walked in with a reassuring smile. Her presence created an instance of calmness. Her knowledge and the way she explained all that was to come filled us with a sense of relief and hope. She made us feel like she had all the time in the world for us. She was prepared, knowledgeable about my mom's file, and even took the time to take my mom up to the 8th floor where she was going to be admitted. The journey ahead is unknown, but in my family's eyes, Hillary is a superhero!
