I have been experiencing a very rough time lately. Coming to the hospital was the last thing I wanted to do. I am a mother of 5 and a supervisor at my job, so my time is limited. Recently, I lost a child and am still pregnant with twins; emotionally, it has taken a toll on me. My nurse has no idea how her spirit and smile lifted me up. Just having a conversation with someone about something outside of death was a relief. Even the small conversation we had about charges with her, we were just talking about charges, but for me, I was healing, just getting my mind away. Hillary made sure I was comfortable at all times. She never walked past my room without at least peeking in. On top of all this, my husband ended up coming into the ER. This really started to worry me. Hillary assured me she would at least let me know when he arrives. She made sure to keep me calm, especially after seeing the concern on my face. But her giving me confirmation again that she would let me know finally put me at ease. As you can imagine, being in the hospital myself, now my husband, and still four kids at home. I am very thankful for how much patience, understanding, compassion, conversation, and overall great experience I received from my nurse.

Thank you, Hillary, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
