I picked my wife up from Seatac airport after returning from Denver. My wife was seated in a wheel chair outside of passenger pick-up, alone, and obviously in distress. She was in severe pain (worse than a migraine), was incoherent, and barely able to speak. I took her to Evergreen Hospital in large part, because my father and I have been treated there in the past and both of us received outstanding service and care.
Once we arrived, my wife was promptly seen and admitted. It was during her initial treatment that RN Hillary Thoreson began caring for my wife. As one would expect, Hillary was efficient and knowledgeable but what we were not expecting was to find a nurse who was so kind, patient, caring, accommodating and showed genuine empathy for me and my wife. Hillary exceeded our expectations in the manner in which she provided care to my wife.
