Hind Sultan Al Otaiby is one of a kind and very compassionate. One time she was on evening duty and stayed with the patient up to 2 am because this patient was bleeding and in pain. She did not go home until the patient was stable and transferred to another ward.
Whatever I will tell/request her she always very cooperative, she will never complain about the duty schedule given to her.
She always helps her colleagues in whatever help she can give. She always inspiring others staff to do their job in the proper way. You can hear her telling other staff to care for their patients like their father/mother or brothers/sisters.
She teaches staff during their competencies and she is always ready to lend a hand to others, during the competency of the staff she would translate in Arabic the competencies so that her colleague would understand. I've seen her helping those who are not really good in inserting cannula more with pedia/small babies. She is not tired going pushing/pulling patients going to 300 OR even she has a problem with her legs (because she has a history of fall in the stairs in their house).
She is very soft spoken and you will never see her getting angry even if she is busy or tired.
I am really thankful that being a Saudi nurse she is really very responsible and professional. She can do her duty without supervision, she can be trusted and always following the work ethics. She is one of the best staff. She will never go for absent nor late in her duty. I can tell that she passionate about being a nurse because she has a deep sense of selfless in her actions towards patients.
