I would like to recognize Hiral Patel for the amazing, caring, and compassionate care that she provided to a patient, and I was her charge nurse. The family left her a letter, and I wanted to recognize her care. I will share the letter that the family had personally written:

"Dear Hiral, I just wanted to reach out to tell you how much we appreciated the wonderful care you provided my dad. I'm sorry I haven't written sooner! My dad was suffering from a bad infection, and he took a turn for the worse during the night. You called us in to be with him. He was sent to the ICU in the morning and then to Unit 40 a day later. He then spent a week in rehab. Fast forward, and we got to celebrate a wonderful Christmas with my dad on his birthday. He made it to his big party with family and friends, and they even celebrated him at the Panera he goes to. He is back to his normal self, driving, going to the gym, and Panera with friends 6 days a week on top of his dialysis 3 days a week. All of this would not have been possible without your wonderful care of him. My dad even welcomed his grandchild, a boy, and our daughter named him after my dad. So, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for saving his life! You were so very kind and compassionate towards my dad and us. We were so lucky you were his nurse, and you have left an imprint on our hearts forever! The world needs more nurses like you! Wishing you many blessings."

I personally witnessed for myself the wonderful care that Hiral provided. Hiral truly is a remarkable nurse who goes above and beyond for her patients. I could not help but share this letter that the family wrote. It is an honor to always work with Hiral.
