Hiyasmin Csontos, RN

My husband and I are both Dignity employees, but one unfortunate night I ended up as the patient. At 12 weeks pregnant, I came to the ER, and I found out my baby no longer had a heartbeat, and I needed to have a D&C scheduled. After over a year of trying, my husband and I were devastated, to say the least, and I immediately had that sinking feeling of what I did wrong. Hiyasmin was my nurse during my time in the ER, and I will never forget how incredible she was. She took the time to sit with us and listen. We both cried to her and I will never forget her reassuring me I have an angel baby watching over me now and they will always be with me. She hugged both my husband and me and asked if we could pray together. I am not a very religious person, but at that moment I felt like that was exactly what I needed. Hiyasmin will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am so grateful that other patients get to experience her beautiful presence as well.
