Our Cardiac Rehab department was closed and a significant deficit was identified in regards to education for our patients with congestive heart failure or stent placement. There was a need to work out an alternative method on educating our patients. Holly is a nurse who transferred from the Cardiac Rehab department to our Quality Department. In an effort to creatively educate our patients, Holly volunteered to assist with the creation of a video for our patients that have had a stent placed. Holly spent a considerable amount of time in scripting the education and then presenting this in the video. Holly was very informative and professional. Her dedication to this particular patient population in a time of need truly exemplified the heart of nursing. Thank you Holly; we are grateful that you shared your knowledge for the greater cause, our patients!
