My wife and I had a miscarriage. We were pretty down about having to go through this whole experience. Once we got in the pre-op area, Holly came in and introduced herself. She started going over all of the normal things that were going to happen that morning, but my wife was still having a hard time with everything going on and was asking a lot of questions about how to deal with this. So, Holly started telling my wife about what she had experienced personally. After talking for several minutes, I noticed that my wife was a lot calmer and accepting what just happened to us the day before. Holly was very kind, thoughtful, caring and compassionate the entire time we were there. Holly never left her side for more than 5 minutes the entire 4 to 5 hours we were there. Holly treated my wife as if she was the only patient in the whole department. Holly gave us the best care I have ever seen. Being a new RN myself, Holly has inspired me to be more attentive and affectionate toward my patients. Thank you so much, Holly, you deserve this and so much more.
