I would like to recognize Holly for her exemplary care and dedication to patients. She demonstrated a level of professionalism and expertise far beyond her role as a procedure room nurse. Recently, Holly was called to assist in our hospital ED during a critical situation when a neonate was brought in for immediate stabilization. Though none of the ER nurses had NICU experience, the RNA recognized the need for specialized care and requested Holly's assistance.

Without hesitation, Holly responded, drawing on her past NICU experience to jump in and help stabilize the neonate. The ER Charge later commented on how Holly's expertise was indispensable during this high-stakes moment. Holly's actions in this emergency truly embody the core values of nursing patient centered care, collaboration, and expertise. She went above and beyond her expected duties, selflessly ensuring the well-being of all patients, not just those in her direct care area. Holly's ability to make an immediate positive impact outside her usual role is a testament to her skill, dedication, and compassionate care.
