We are writing this letter to let you know how impressed we are with your nurse, Holly Jiles. Our son was in Penrose Hospital for two months when he was transferred to Pikes Peak Hospice where he passed away a few weeks later.
The care he received at Penrose was exceptional, thanks to Holly and the rest of the staff (sorry, we don't remember all of their names.) We cannot express our gratitude enough for the quality of care that was given to him while he was in your facility.
Holly stuck up for him and made sure he got the best of care. She even came to Pike's Peak Hospice to visit him, bringing him two new blankets and a pizza. Then, she got him in a wheelchair and we all had a small party for him. He passed away ten days later. We could tell it meant a lot to him and especially to us. It isn't often you find people who genuinely care like Holly does.
On his last day, Holly had come to visit him at 8:30 PM. He passed away at 10:55 PM. She has continued to keep in touch with us to see if she can help and to make sure that we are okay.
I was in Penrose Emergency Room on eight months later and Holly came to check on me. My husband had hernia surgery and again, Holly was there for him. She even came to our house to check on us when my husband got out of the hospital.
