Holly M Rodgers, RN

My daughter and son-in-law were admitted with their first child.  Like all new parents, they were full of nerves and anxiety on the birthing process. Holly was incredibly patient, kind, & very nurturing.  Honestly, the list is quite lengthy as to what Holly exhibited with us.  You see, my daughter suffers from anxiety and depression and is bipolar.  You never know the reaction of people when they find out someone has a mental illness.  I understand healthcare professionals are trained for such things but, I feel like Holly went above and beyond with her kindness and understanding.  She explained that she has a loved one who is the same as my daughter, which made my daughter feel completely at ease talking about it.  

I pray that if anyone is faced with giving birth with a mental illness, they get Holly as their nurse!

NWCH is so lucky to have Holly in the Labor & Delivery department!
