…I don’t know how I would have handled being in the hospital without Holly. Never have I had a nurse as nice as Holly, and I have had several surgeries. She was so kind and considerate to not only me, but my family and friends. Aurora is very lucky to have a nurse like Holly. Whenever Holly was on duty – I always asked to have her as a nurse. I sure do miss her beautiful smile.
…My sister-in-law had spent some time at Aurora Hospital and she had Holly as one of her nurses. She was very caring to her and all our family members. She made sure we were all comfortable and was very compassionate. Holly was helpful every time we were there.
…My mother was in the hospital for a month and was on the second floor for about two weeks. Holly was her nurse and went above and beyond to make sure my mother was comfortable on her road to recovery. When visiting her, she was always in better spirits when Holly was around. I’m very grateful that she was my mother’s nurse and Aurora should be very proud to have her as an employee.
…Holly was an absolute angel in taking care of my sister while she was in the hospital. She was very compassionate and caring – always pleasant, always a smile on her face. Never once did Holly not answer a question that we had, if she didn’t know she would find out for us. I guess all I can say is that during a trembling, upsetting time in our lives, seeing Holly was a comfort and always made us comfortable to be there.
… I think Holly is very deserving of the “DAISY Award”. I visited the hospital to see my daughter–in-law at least 3-4 days a week, and Holly was her nurse. She was a very pleasant nurse and she tried to be very observing and helpful to my daughter-in-law. She did her best to make her as comfortable as possible and helped her in any way she could. She is a very compassionate person.
