During his last days in the hospital prior to passing, Hong was a friendly and warm presence for Dad. She assessed his condition each and every time she came into the room, was very proactive, and truly listened to him. While she was not always able to make him happy, she was a bright spot in his care. Hong spent time easing our fears as best she could, explaining what was happening with Dad. She was empathetic during this most stressful, sad moment of our lives, and made Dad feel cared for. Although it could not take away our feelings of sadness and disappointment, we knew that Hong performed her job with the highest level of clinical expertise and sincerity and for that we are thankful.
