Hunter James, RN

My grandfather is primarily under Hunter's care most days in the SICU. My grandfather has been here for 2 weeks. It's been an extensive journey for him. What we thought was initially trouble to breathe became much more than we anticipated. He had to receive 6 heart bypasses. My grandfather likes to joke around but he can also be stern especially when it comes to his care and what he does and doesn't want!

Hunter handled every instance, whether joking and laughing or being direct about his care and what needed to be done, with grace. Hunter's demeanor is always caring, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. Hunter greets us with a warm smile, keeps us informed, makes sure we are comfortable during our visits with my grandfather, and is overall an exceptional nurse. In my grandmother's words, "Hunter is such a sweetheart." Magnolia is blessed to have Hunter to care for their patients!
