Hunter was inquisitive and attempted to understand her in order to provide holistic care.
I was admitted to Lafayette Physical Rehabilitation from Our Lady of Lourdes almost two weeks ago. From the very beginning, I felt comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

All the nurses were awesome, especially my nurse, Hunter Mine. He was patient and always prompt with my medication, explaining each one and what it was used for. He answered a lot of my questions, and when I had any complaints, like insomnia, he was quick to let my doctor know all my concerns, which were resolved quickly. All the nurses were awesome, but Hunter was by far the most helpful and very knowledgeable. He was very patient and caring.

My husband spent 15 days at the facility. He needed much care and rehabilitation. Hunter has a good way about him. He is always smiling and very dedicated. He went above and beyond with care. B and I really like him. We are very satisfied with his care and devotion.

My mother is 91. After treatment for a bleeding ulcer, she lost strength and fell often, leading to a broken hip. Hunter was inquisitive and attempted to understand her in order to provide holistic care. He treated my mother and the family with care and respect. He advocated for giving all night meds at 7 pm instead of administering Doxepan at 7 pm and all other meds at 9 pm. Waking her at 9 for remaining meds defeated the purpose. He communicated well with the family and exhibited the empathy and care of a true medical professional.

He treats Mom with care and respect. Helpful and attentive. He seems to be a good dad also as we talked about his kids. Good nurse.

I first met this nice young man when Mom was first admitted to Lafayette Rehab. He was helping a resident in the cafeteria. I thought he was a private sitter because he took such good care in helping her eat her lunch. He listened to and was so friendly to the other elderly ladies, including my mom. Anytime I ask him for help, he has always been available.

Hunter is an excellent nurse and always pleasant & considerate.

Hunter is very attentive to his patients. He has been helpful when my mom needed anything. He always answers my questions when we need them. He is very deserving of this award. He is the sweetest young man. My Mom has been to this rehab three times in the last year.
