Hunter works as an RN alongside my daughter in the ETC at the St. Cloud hospital. He was off duty but was present when my daughter had a medical emergency that resulted in her being intubated and hospitalized. Hunter was quick to know exactly what to do to help in a time of need, and he stayed at my daughter's bedside to keep us updated as my husband and I were out of the country at the time.

Hunter is truly an incredible nurse, and his dedication to patient care is unmatched. He has an amazing ability to make every patient feel seen, heard, and cared for. His compassion, attention to detail, and tireless work ethic make him a standout in his field. It's clear that he has a genuine passion for his role, and the positive impact he has on the lives of those he cares for is truly inspiring.

Hunter began as just an acquaintance, or a coworker mentioned by my daughter, but he became so much closer to us in those moments of panic. After I got the call that my daughter was being sent from the ETC to the ICU on a ventilator, Hunter was right there to explain everything that was happening, the tests that were being ordered, the results of those tests, etc. He made frequent visits to my daughter to ensure we had everything we needed and that everything was being explained in a way that we could understand.

Hunter happened to be present in a time of crisis, but it was his actions that followed that served as evidence of the skilled and deeply qualified nurse that he is. Both on duty and off, Hunter is the nurse you want near you when something goes awry. Hunter truly exemplifies the meaning of listening, serving, guiding, and healing. Hunter will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Thank you, Hunter, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
