Tony greeted me with a cup of ice telling me he heard that ice was my main request. I had Tony several times in a row as a nurse, and through conversations and a few laughs we learned we were raised in the same neighborhood in San Jose which instilled confidence in me to ask questions, joke around and request for items as needed. Not being able to work with a therapist on a 7-day schedule, Tony took it upon himself to create time from his schedule as my nurse and allow me to do some therapy walking as he would follow me with the wheelchair. Tony went over and beyond several times throughout my stay on the 6th floor. Tony went as far as teaching my fiancé what to look for while we all walked down the hallway. It was after my first therapy session; I injured my hip which put a halt to my therapy.
