I am writing this letter with tears of joy and deep gratitude to thank you for the extraordinary care and compassion shown to my mother during her recent, unforeseen medical emergencies.

From the moment my mother started to take a turn for the worse, your team responded with incredible urgency, professionalism, and heartfelt empathy. In what became one of the most frightening and emotional times for our family, you offered not only medical care but a sense of hope, calm, and comfort. We will never forget how you stood beside us—every step of the way.

I would like to personally thank Katy Pierce, Hyperbaric Director, for her exceptional leadership, warmth, and selflessness. Katy was a steady and comforting presence throughout, showing deep commitment not only to the patient but to our family. Her dedication and compassion did not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for the grace she brought to every moment. Thank you to the whole Hyperbaric team

Our heartfelt thanks also go to Jennifer Francis from the CVL team, who met us at every point of need. From welcoming us on arrival, to praying with us, and following up even after the transition, Jennifer's kindness and attentiveness were a true blessing. She supported us both emotionally and spiritually when we needed it most. Thank you to the whole CVIS team.

We also want to express our deepest appreciation to ICU Nurse Shannon Sweeney, whose presence from the start helped ease our worries. She is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, personable, and intuitive. Her care extended beyond the bedside—she made us feel supported, heard, and never alone.

And to Jackie Colbert from Chaplaincy —thank you. Your prayers lifted us. You came with a calm and spiritual strength that held us up in one of the hardest moments of our lives. Your words were powerful, and we truly believe your prayers reached God's ears. We will forever be grateful for your presence and compassion. We also cannot forget or leave out all the team members who played crucial roles behind the scenes. Whether in administration or other support staff, your hard work made everything else possible. Your dedication, though often unseen, was deeply felt. Please know: your work did not go unnoticed. You are just as much a part of saving our loved one's life as anyone else, and we are sincerely thankful for every role you played.

The unity, compassion, and excellence shown by the Hyperbaric, CVL, ICU teams, Chaplaincy, and support staff were truly extraordinary. Each of you reflects the very best of healthcare—offering not just treatment, but human connection, comfort, and dignity.
