Thank you for your bravery, your sacrifices, and your unwavering compassion.
To the entire Panorama City Medical Center ICU team, thank you for the time, work, and tremendous skill you put into helping others during this unprecedented year and a half. Thank you for your bravery, your sacrifices, and your unwavering compassion. Even during the darkest days, you have all been a ray of hope for so many families going through the difficulties of COVID-19 among other illnesses. Many may not have been able to fully comprehend the sacrifices you made both personally and professionally but know that your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and you are so appreciated. We would not have been able to get through this time without you and you are an inspiration to us all. With our deepest heartfelt sincerity, thank you. Here are just a few of the many families you have touched with your gentle caring who felt compelled to share their experience:
“Dear Team K, From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for all you have done for our K. Words alone cannot fully express our immense gratitude. You give your time, you give your hands, but most of all you give your heart. All of your time and effort doesn’t go unnoticed; it’s made all the difference in her survival. We appreciate you and everything you’ve done. God bless Drs. Conrado, Chow, Han, Demergian, Garen, Steve, Sukomora, and all nurses.”
Summary from the daughter of a patient (via phone): She wanted to take time out of her day to say how amazing the care that her father received was while he was in the ICU. He was admitted to ICU and unfortunately self-extubated, but was able to be transferred to DOU and discharged 2 days later. She spoke of the care and attention that her father received. The nurses took the time to make sure that she was updated daily on her father’s condition and progress. She mentioned how she appreciated the fact that the nurses would make it a point to allow her to FaceTime with her father. She is so thankful for the care and acknowledged the fact that she understood everyone was busy and going through so much, yet the nurses were still able to be so kind and caring when providing updates. The names of the nurses that she could remember were: RNs: RT: Tina Grigoryants Ben Dissanayake Ara Nawatree Sunnthronak Nora Sharp Adrian De La Cruz John Villanueva
"April from the ICU treated my father with so much compassion and love. She treated him like family and helped him in so many ways through her actions. She was also very kind to our family and was very attentive. I am very thankful that Kaiser has amazing nurses like April. She is one of a kind. Thank you for everything you did for my father. I cannot wait to be able to tell him about the great care he received from you."
"Thank you for the difficult and often heartbreaking work that you do each and every day. You and other angels like you are loved and appreciated!"
"Jamie, who took care of my dad explained everything I needed to know very professionally and throughout I was able to understand what was going on. She is the coolest nurse I've met that understands me and the situation. In my opinion, star employee!"
"My whole stay, from the care in ICU to my departure, was an excellent experience. No complaints. Everything is excellent. Thank you for your services."
