My mom is currently a resident at Springhouse Memory Care at Patriots Colony and has been since August 2025. Placing mom there was a scary and unsure decision that I agonized over. Meeting Iesha over those first few days put my mind at rest and gave me a peace that has been very comforting. I have watched Iesha listen intently to my mom ramble when she makes no sense. I have watched her laugh with my mom like an old friend. I have seen Iesha anticipate my mom's needs and provide that care in advance, all with the biggest smile and joy. When my mom took a step down in cognition, Iesha helped me to advocate for my mom with the doctors to make sure nothing medical was going on. Iesha cares. Iesha loves. This is evident in the joy she brings to those in her care. These are not things that you can teach in nursing school. But these are things that make a great nurse and deserve recognition!
