Professor Igbudu is a compassionate, student-centered educator whose creativity, clinical insight, and unwavering advocacy make a lasting difference in learners’ lives. Students praise her engaging lectures and innovative learning activities that deepen understanding; she consistently explores the “why” behind clinical decisions to strengthen critical thinking and clinical judgment. She offers extra workshops, thorough answers, and practical study tools, and she sets clear expectations while remaining approachable and ready to help.
Beyond teaching, Professor Igbudu is a fierce advocate and empathetic listener. She recognizes when students struggle, takes time to coach and encourage them, and steps in to problem-solve—once personally advocating with a clinical coordinator so a working mother could keep her job while staying in the program. Her willingness to go above and beyond, combined with genuine care and professional integrity, models what nursing should be.
