Ileana was always very polite and attentive. She was never too busy to listen to my concerns and she always went above and beyond her normal duties and did it with a positive attitude and a smile.
As a disabled veteran who has been in and out of hospitals for multiple surgeries, countless procedures, and numerous hospital stays, I can honestly say Ileana Lim is the best nurse I have ever had. Over 2 months, I was hospitalized twice due to Covid. Both times I have had the pleasure of Ileana taking care of me. She was always very polite and attentive. She was never too busy to listen to my concerns and she always went above and beyond her normal duties and did it with a positive attitude and a smile. Whenever I needed anything she was always quick to help. Such as ordering special medications, putting me in contact with my physicians, providing me with daily amenities to make life in the hospital more bearable, and even providing me with a friendly ear and conversation. If there was something that I needed that was above and beyond Ileana’s scope of practice, she never hesitated to put me in contact with the right people. Such as other physicians, the charge nurse, case management, social worker, infectious disease team, and many more. I hope I am not hospitalized again but if I am, Ileana is still here to take care of me and my fellow veterans.
