Based on his work ethic I could really tell that Ilidio truly loves and enjoys his field of work.
I have been admitted for about 5 days now, and have had the opportunity to have Ilidio as my nurse twice. The first time I had him, he was my day nurse. Sadly, when I had been brought up from the emergency ward sometime around 6:50 pm it was leaning towards the end of his shift. He wasn’t my nurse for long, but there was something about his personality and his aura that made me feel safe and at peace. He is such a kind and sweet individual.
As a female patient, he never made me feel uncomfortable as my nurse. He would always tell me if I needed anything that required any of the female nurses, to let him know and he’ll get on it. Whatever the task that had been given to him, he did it and went above and beyond. Whenever he came to either check my vitals, check my wound vac, or take care of whatever was necessary with my IV, he always made sure that not only I was doing well but also made sure to include my mom and ask if there was anything that either of us required. Even during the day, when I once slept for a very long time, my mom told me that he would come in to check and see if I was doing well.
Based on his work ethic I could really tell that he truly loves and enjoys his field of work. He’s someone you can depend on and in this day and age that is of great importance. I was told that it has only been about 2 months since he started working in the pediatric department, and based on what I’ve experienced this is the perfect field for him.
