A colleague nominated Ilona for the DAISY Award for the compassionate care she provided her daughter in the Emergency Department. The co-worker shared her three-year-old daughter was experiencing a prolonged focal seizure, was unconscious and had to be intubated. She expressed that Ilona stayed calm, was very helpful, kind, compassionate, and attentive to her daughter and listened to her husband's concerns. Ilona exemplifies our STAR values- Support, Teamwork, Accountability, and Respect.
