Ilyse Fultonberg, RN
Ilyse was the Nurse assigned to the patient. She saw the patient was upset and when we explained why, Ilyse said she understood because she had no one at her college Graduation. I did not see Ilyse anymore that shift before I left. The next day we were told that Ilyse researched and found the link for the online live graduation and put the link in the chart and passed it on in report to make sure the patient was able to watch it on Sunday. The patient was able to see her son Graduate and receive his diploma up close and personal. She had a better seat than if she had attended graduation in person. This was above and beyond, only a Nurse would have come up with a plan like this for her patient.
