They were both very attentive and caring.
Dr. Spampinato and Brian, the charge nurse, attended to M so quickly when he was brought in initially. They both kept me well informed at all times about his plan of care, condition, and diagnosis. M’s nurses in the ER were Carmelita and Kellie. They were both very attentive and caring. IMCU Edward the charge nurse had a comforting smile always. Most of the days, on day shift, M had a nurse named Bisola. She was always in a happy and cheerful mood. When I brought supplies to my husband, she will allow me to go to his isolation room door window so we could see each other through the glass and exchange a few words. She was extremely caring and made me feel at peace when I had to leave him behind. The day he was discharged, I couldn’t pick him up until 19:30. She stayed even after her shift was over and helped me pack his things and wheeled him downstairs with a big smile even when her shift was over. Benetta, the charge nurse that was there when he was discharged, was very organized and had every nurse on the floor line up to say goodbye to him, They all clapped and had very sweet and cheerful words for him/us as we were leaving. It brought tears to our eyes. I’m eternally grateful to all of you for caring so amazingly for my husband. You are all awesome. Thank you again.
