I am a woman engineer who works with satellites, so I especially appreciate being with a true professional nurse who obviously loves her job. Imelda is an excellent role model for young women! I came to the hospital frightened because I was recently diagnosed with follicular lymphoma cancer. I was overwhelmed and did not have any knowledge of my disease. But, I was blessed to have Imelda as my nurse. She changed her schedule to see me through the third round of my intense and delicate chemotherapy regimen and she helped to keep me calm and confident through the treatments. Imelda was extremely knowledgeable, and she shared information in a compassionate manner. She was a warm and calm nurse and no doubt is a blessing to everyone that she serves.
