Hers was a genuine concern for the well-being of the patient.
There is however a nurse who stood out from among those who attended to us. Her name is Imelda Cardinez.
Ma'am Mel had this gentle and pleasant demeanor that complemented her amiable mien. But underneath that veneer was a dedicated and competent nurse.
She monitored constantly and made sure the chemo drugs were administered and, more importantly, completed without delay. We could also sense her sincerity in doing what needed to be done. We felt that she did things not because it was just her job that she was paid for. Hers was a genuine concern for the well-being of the patient. Patient E, not to mention her family, is fortunate and blessed to have her.
