Inger is the one person I know who goes above and beyond in all aspects of her profession. Inger makes a special connection with nearly all the patients and families in the intensive care unit and attempts to involve patients and families in all planning of care if possible and appropriate. Inger does an excellent job educating patients, families, and staff. Inger works extremely well with all aspects of the health care team to meet needs. Inger is wonderful at making patients and families feel comfortable in times of unease.

Inger is one of the most amazing people I have ever had the honor and pleasure to work with. She has so many amazing stories and experiences that it gives her the ability to have insight to a patient's needs or expectation of progress. Inger goes above and beyond everyday which makes every day with her great, no matter how bad it may really be. Inger is diligent to round on each patient each day, to know about IVs, equipment, restraints, and ask questions regarding the plan of care or potential issue to prepare for. Inger always stands up for what is right, for staff and patients and is always available for the staff and patients when needed, or just as a comfort. Inger is always current on evidenced based practice and willing to teach all of the staff about what she has read or learned about to keep us current as well.
