Our granddaughter, W, was born prematurely with a large tumor and was under 2.4 pounds at delivery. Ms. Ingrid was her nurse and took amazing care of her. My granddaughter was critical yet stable but Ingrid took time to answer all questions (and I always have a lot). She was very personable. Our granddaughter retained fluid and on arrival, she had fluid on her brain. Ingrid eased our minds and took time every 1.5 – 2 hours to turn her head, massaging it and repositioning her. Making sure she was comfortable, even though she was on sedating medications. The care she gave and the way she would talk to her was like she was taking care of her own child. She also got to know W’s dad, our son and became like his new BFF (so to speak). She is an amazing, meticulous nurse who gives me peace of mind knowing I must go home (3 hours away) to work to come back on days off. Knowing W is in a great place receiving the best care and treatment from nurses, doctors, and others like Ingrid, makes me worry less. Thank you, Ingrid, and team, for taking such great care of my granddaughter.
