My husband was admitted to the ICU unit early in the morning in critical condition unable to communicate with me. I felt very alone and scared although the other nurses were very nice. My husband had a very scary moment due to the medication. It was shift change and our new nurse came in and I have to say from the minute Inice came into the room until she was done with her shift I felt I was no longer alone. She was by my side explaining every move she was making. I was very sad when she ended her shift, but I had the knowledge she taught me on the machines that I am no longer scared. You saved me. You provided much comfort in a scary situation. Thank you.
