Inna Bessarab, RN, ECRN

I had just been diagnosed with cancer. It was the darkest moment of my life, and I was having a difficult time coping with the news. Despite that, I found comfort, and I attribute that comfort to Inna Bessarab. I never would have thought the most profound hug I’d ever received would come from a complete stranger, but it did. She has a challenging job, but I want her to know that all of her sacrifices and hard work have positioned her to make an impact on at least one person’s life; although I’m sure there are plenty more. Since that day and her embrace, I’ve tried to be more like Nurse Inna and demonstrate true compassion towards others. I hope that by admitting this, I can return the favor, and you too can find a brief sense of comfort whenever you need it most. Thanks again so very much; I am forever grateful!
