Inna was an Extraordinary Nurse. My mom was in and out of the hospital because of her cancer and was very depressed and lost all hope. Inna was the charge nurse and she always checked on her to make sure she was okay. She and the other nurses went above and beyond to help her up, and even danced for her, according to my dad.
When Inna came back to work after her day off, she brought her guitar and sang a song for my mother. This brought my mom such joy, she talked about it for days.
Inna also gave us emotional support, especially to my father who was with my mom every day. He really felt her genuine care and compassion and she shared our sorrow when my mom transitioned to hospice. Inna laughed and cried with us, and felt like family.
