Transforming Care at the Bedside (TCAB) began its journey with staff members David Groves, JulieRosty-McLellan, and Lisa Clark. This remarkable team has implemented over 100 innovations to improve patient safety, increase nurse time at the bedside, improve staff satisfaction and increase the vitality for all who work on 5Medicine. From the "just do it" such as laundry hampers in all rooms, to EPIC changes to improve documentation and communication, to monumental projects such as the new medication rooms and supply room redesign, these three have truly transformed 5Medicine. David, Julie, and Lisa are highly motivated, energetic, and creative individuals who form a strong, cohesive team. They give their heart and soul to TCAB to make 5Medicine the best place to receive care, give care and work and learn.
