I would like to appreciate and recommend the ICU nurses for the DAISY Award because of their dedication and hard work during the COVID - 19 pandemic. It was a very big challenge, a stressful time for them, and yet they have managed the crisis effectively. They did not give up and continued to provide nursing care to the patients. At times, I will see them very busy, running here and there, sweating wearing full PPE, unable to eat because of the huge demand for their service. They never complained but they continue to do their role as Nurses.
