The Internal Transplant Teamhas been instrumental in improving patient care by speeding up the flow of patients to and from radiology. Not only has the efficiency been revolutionary, but the attitude of the internal transport team is incredibly friendly making patients and their families welcome and at ease in transit to and from radiology procedures. The team has gone above and beyond in helping CHLA achieve their best by moving more patients through to radiology imaging and back to their rooms without delay. They have done such transports with compassion and safety to ensure all patients are cared for appropriately. It has been stated, "We truly love seeing the red backpacks moving through the organization knowing that their work is so helpful to the other care providers and to the families." This team is very deserving team of the DAISY Team Award.
