Intira is one of our specialty coordinator for our ENT, Maxillofacial and Electrophysiology surgeries. The whole OR team would define Intira as a staff that exemplifies nursing care to the highest level, she has earned the respect of her colleagues and the surgeons. Intira has not only dedicated her time solely on her own specialty but also as a resource for being the Health Connect expert, without hesitation she leads HC updates.

Intira has touched many patients' lives by making sure that their needs are met and she does this by constant communication with the surgeons and anticipating the surgical outcome. Intira has always maintained a good relationship with the rest of her team always reassuring them of her support when the need arise. Intira never leaves her team and the patient in critical situations especially when there are complicated pediatric cases wherein she maintains her visibility and takes an extra mile to assist in the successful outcome of the case. Because the OR is a confined area, the patient and the family may not be able to see the impact of her connection to the care that she gives every day; but as a leader I truly attest that her passion and dedication to the nursing profession defines her worthy to be recognized.
