Irene was so important to my sister’s treatment during her 3-week stay. There was a scary complication with a leaking wound in the middle of the night. She was so focused on treating my sister and getting her every intervention she needed. Her professionalism, empathy, and humor got us through. During my sister's stay, she would regularly check in on her even when she wasn’t her patient. The compassion for my sister and the family was so appreciated and made this hard time much easier.
