I went into the Cardiographics Lab for a stress test. Yes, I was nervous because I hate needles and I had to have an IV with radioactive dye. The tech was very understanding and did not hurt me. We thought the needle would last through the procedure, but it later failed. In the aftermath of the first IV, Irene noticed I was faint. She jumped into action, calmed me down and put me on a gurney. Throughout, she checked on me constantly, was very understanding and sincere in her ability to help me stay alert and awake. After another tech finished my first set of x-rays, Irene noticed my IV was failing. She assisted me again by locating a good vein and at last getting another IV up. She was more than a nurse, she was an angel. She stayed with me again, helped in all phases and with her calming manner I stayed calm. After 3 hours we were done, she gave me a snack and again monitored my blood pressure.
I don't know how Holy Name gets its staff, but with the ones I have had the honor to meet, the hospital is a great place to be when one is ailing. I can't record how great your staff is other than to say, they are very professional, caring, thoughtful and attending in a supreme manner. Thank you.
