Irene is one of the most empathetic and caring nurses in Home Healthcare. She is a very competent and hardworking person. She is very flexible and doesn't complain when she is asked to move from one patient to another. No wonder all of our patients like her because she's very jolly and approachable. She's a good colleague and always gives joy even when everyone is tired on duty. Irene motivates her colleagues to give their best in taking care of patients. There is one particular time when she went above and beyond for a patient and we believe she exemplifies the characteristics of a DAISY Nurse. One day at her patient's home, Irene noticed her patient's oxygen level started to go down to a critical level. Irene did all the necessary interventions, including manual ventilation, to save the patient. Without her good nursing judgment and extraordinary care, we probably would have lost our patient.

All her peers and colleagues have seen how much she has contributed to our COVID program over the last few months. She has truly shone through, stepping up and volunteering to be part of the COVID program, and being a true role model. She is very passionate about the role of a nurse and gives everything to her patients.
