Iris has been a ray of sunshine in our mom’s care. She has gone above and beyond in her care.
We were so blessed to have a sweet soul like Iris caring for my Mama during her hospital stay. From the very first moment we met her, we felt at ease. She brought such peace, warmth and kindness into the room, and was like a ray of sunshine on a hard day. Her respect, compassion and gentle spirit made my Mama smile and that meant the world to us. Iris, thank you for making us feel at home in a place that so many of us don’t want to be at is in the hospital, but you sure made it special seeing you daily on your days there with us. You were an answer to prayer.

Our mom, Donna Sides, has been in the hospital for two weeks. Magnolia hospital has been wonderful in her care. She had a perforated bowel and ended needing an ostomy bag and a PEG tube. Iris has been a ray of sunshine in our mom’s care. She has gone above and beyond in her care. She has taken time to explain to us how to care for mom’s ostomy bag and PEG tube once she goes home. She has taken time to make sure mom has everything she needs, including a fan in her room when she was having hot flashes.
She always has a smile on her face and takes the time to talk, listen, and laugh with our young children when we are there visiting mom. She comes into mom’s room to check on her often and listens to everything mom tells her and tries her hardest to meet every need. She is extremely kind and caring and has been such a light to our mom and our whole family! She is a wonderful nurse and a wonderful person and our hospital stay was made even better because of her.
