Iris was caring for a patient who had cancer on the cardiac step down unit. The patient's son was getting married on the weekend, but she could not attend because she was hospitlized. Iris arranged for the wedding to take place in the lobby of the hospital so the patient could attend her own sons wedding. This gesture meant the world the the patient and her family.
