Iris was nominated for the DAISY Award by a patient who was treated in our observation unit. She said that Iris was a 10 on a scale of 1-10. She was nervous about being in the hospital and Iris made her stay more comfortable and explained everything so carefully that her worries soon diminished. She appreciated Iris' kind bedside manner.
