Irma Hernandez, BSN, RN

Irma was a nurse for a long-term patient for the pediatric surgical team, and she did an excellent job taking care of them. They were a very medically complex patient, and she was always on top of their entire regimen. She did a great job managing all of their lines and would even help us take preventative measures to protect the lines. I never had to question if she knew what their current management or their future care plan was. Additionally, she would always take the time to take the baby out of their crib and spend quality time playing or walking around the unit. I knew that with every shift with her, my patient was going to be well taken care of, and I could trust her 100%. Thank you, Irma, for all that you do and for being such an excellent nurse!
