Isaac is positive and proactive. He encouraged me in a validating way when I had a negative mindset after a bad night/morning. He reminded me of all the positive aspects of my recovery so far. When Isaac and I were going on my walks, he made it an enjoyable little adventure we were going on as a team. He was always patient when explaining my symptoms and answering curious questions. He respected my energy levels and pain management. He never missed my pain medication schedule time. He would always ask if I needed anything before he left the room. He was very courteous and respectful to protect my privacy. He is very positive, fun, and cheerful. The care was excellent from every nurse, but Isaac's personality/personness led to my motivation, improved mood, and speed of recovery. He inspired me to do more for my own self-care. While Isaac stood out, every single staff member, from nurses to PAs, CNAs, PCTs, x-ray techs, blood work team, meal deliverers, and even the room cleaners, was exceptional! It was such a joy to meet such dedicated, passionate, compassionate people in all areas of the hospital. Well done, Essentia, in hiring practices! I also enjoyed getting to hear some of their "stories”, i.e. what inspired them to train in the medical field. I hope they enjoyed some of my stories! While a hospital visit is never a pleasant experience, I couldn't have asked for better people to go through it with.
